TISS to Host South Asian Conference on Policy Advocacy and Social Entrepreneurship

Tata Institute of Social Sciences will host the South Asian Conference on Policy Advocacy and Social Entrepreneurship on 13–14 February 2026. The conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to examine how social enterprises influence public policy and drive systemic social change.

Mumbai-  - The Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, has announced the South Asian Conference on Policy Advocacy and Social Entrepreneurship, scheduled for 13–14 February 2026 at the TISS Mumbai campus. The conference will serve as a regional platform for academics, policymakers, social entrepreneurs, and development practitioners to deliberate on the evolving role of social enterprises in policy advocacy and governance.

The conference invites theoretical, empirical, and conceptual research papers on themes including social enterprises and advocacy engagements, collaborative advocacy approaches, policy entrepreneurship and innovation, organisational dynamics, and the effectiveness and impact of advocacy initiatives.

Extended abstracts of around 2,000 words must include the title of the paper, context of the study, research objectives, methodology, expected findings, and conclusions, along with the author’s name, institutional affiliation, contact details, and correspondence address. Submissions should be emailed to cse.conference@tiss.ac.in.

The conference registration link will be open from 01 January 2026 to 14 February 2026. Registration fees vary by participant category and nationality, with separate rates for students/PhD scholars and other participants, and options with or without accommodation. The registration fee without accommodation covers the conference kit, tea and snacks, and lunch on conference days, while the fee with accommodation includes meals and three nights’ stay, subject to availability. Accommodation will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
