RBI notified 650 Assistant Posts across India; Online Applications Opened from February 16
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026 released applications for 650 Assistant posts across various branches in India. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website till 08 March 2026.Candidates can do registration by paying the prescribed fee within the given deadline through the official portal of RBI. The vacancies distributed across multiple RBI offices including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad , Jaipur , Jammu , Kanpur & Lucknow , Mumbai , Nagpur, Patna , New Delhi ,Thiruvananthapuram.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 20 to 28 years (age relaxation applicable as per government rules).
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Additional Requirements: Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in the regional language of the respective state.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
- Document Verification
The LPT will be conducted in the official/local language of the respective state.
Preliminary Examination
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Sections:

Main Examination
- Total Marks: 200
- Duration: 135 minutes
- Sections:

| Computer Knowledge | 40 questions |
Each section carries 40 marks. Negative marking will be applicable for incorrect answers in both the Preliminary and Main examinations.

- Preliminary Exam: 11 April 2026
- Main Exam: 07 June 2026
Application Fee
- ₹50 + 18% GST for SC/ST/PwBD/EXS candidates
- ₹450 + 18% GST for General/OBC/EWS candidates
