Mumbai: The ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Education (ICAR-CIFE), Mumbai, will organise an Ornamental Fish Fair and Aquarium Science Workshop on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at its campus in Versova, Mumbai. The event will be held from 10 am to 9 pm on both days.
The programme, themed “Transforming Hobby into Passion”, is being organised by ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai, in association with the Maharashtra Aquaculture Farmers Association (MAFA) and the Indian Fisheries Association (IFA). It aims to popularise ornamental fish keeping and disseminate scientific knowledge related to aquarium management and ornamental fisheries.
The two-day fair will bring together aquaculture professionals, hobbyists, entrepreneurs, and students, offering a platform to explore advancements in ornamental fish breeding, aquarium science, and other technologies.
