Mumbai ; Uday Samant (Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister) announced on twitter that all Maharashtra universities will be conducting offline exams from June 1st.

The university exams are usually conducted in the month of May. But because of demand of the students of Maharashtra universities and colleges the exams are postponed on the 1st of June according to Maharashtra Technical and Higher Education Minister Uday Samant. The state government has also announced the delay of exams.

The exams are going to be conducted from 1st June to 15th June by the college and universities. The exam is going to be in offline mode and the format of the exam is written format (Students have to write proper theory). 2 days of gap is also expected between exams.

Since the students have lost the habit of writing offline written exams, 15 minutes extra is given to them for writing their exams. Uday Samant has tweeted, “Considering that after a break of two years, students will be appearing for exams in offline mode, universities should give 15 extra minutes for every hour of the exam period to students,” added the Maharashtra higher education minister.

Students are advised to be up to the date with news about the exams and to stay in touch with their institutions.
