Mumbai: K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai has organized an event on Single-use plastic products (SUP) are used once, or for a short period of time, before being thrown away. The impacts of this plastic waste on the environment and our health are global and can be drastic. With government initiatives on reducing the use of plastics, a one day symposium on Awareness generation towards elimination of single use plastic items in association with the Department of Science and technology.
