Mumbai: Producer Boney Kapoor has revealed that his daughter Khushi Kapoor pursued her studies at the New York Film Academy without him having to bear the cost of tuition. Speaking on the Game Changers YouTube channel, Kapoor shared that Khushi was awarded a full 100% scholarship based on her audition performance.
“You know, Khushi was admitted to the New York Film Academy on scholarship. I didn’t have to pay the fees,” he said. Explaining further, Kapoor added, “You send your audition to decide whether you can be admitted or not, and she was offered a scholarship.”
The young starlet, who made her acting debut with The Archies, had honed her craft during her time at the film school, an experience that came at no financial burden to her family thanks to the scholarship recognition.
