Mumbai, September 24, 2026: K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) has been ranked 51st in Asia in the QS Asia MBA Rankings 2027, placing the Institute among the business schools assessed in the latest regional ranking. KJSIM has also been placed in the 301+ category in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027. The Institute was ranked 52nd in Asia in the previous edition. The QS MBA Rankings assess business schools across parameters including employability, return on investment, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, thought leadership and diversity, offering a view of the outcomes and value associated with MBA education.

The Institute's focus on employability is reflected in its placement outcomes. For the MBA Class of 2024–26, KJSIM recorded an overall placement rate of 97%, with 586 of 603 participating students receiving offers. The flagship MBA Core programme recorded a 98% placement rate, with 545 of 555 students receiving offers. The batch recorded a peak domestic salary of ₹29.30 lakh per annum, while the average salary for the top 10% of students stood at ₹19.94 lakh, followed by ₹17.85 lakh for the top 20% and ₹16.86 lakh for the top 30%. At KJSIM, experiential learning is integrated into the academic journey through live projects, internships, industry interactions and opportunities to engage with real-world business challenges. These experiences complement classroom learning and enable students to apply management concepts across different business contexts.
