Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarships 2026: Indian Students Can Get Up to $120,000 for Study Abroad

Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarships 2026 is a merit-based opportunity that is being offered by the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation (a non-profit organisation) to Indian students pursuing their postgraduate studies in European, American, and UK universities abroad.

New Delhi. : Indian students spiring to pursue posgraduation from abroad now have a significant opportunity with the announcement of the Inlaks Shivadasani Schloarships 2026. This merit-based scholarship supports students aiming to study at top universities in countries like US, UK and Europe. 

Benifits of this scholarship incluues:

Selected students will receive a one-time support of $1,20,000 along with a travel allowance for a one-way ticket in addition to the tuition, maintenance, and health insurance.

Note:- 

  • The foundation will not provide any scholarships for visas, travel, and health insurance in isolation.
  • If the course costs more than the scholarship amount, applicants must demonstrate financial self-sufficiency for the remaining expenses at the time of application.

To be eligible, the applicants must:-

  • be an Indian passport holder who is residing in India at the time of application born on or after 1st January 1996
  • hold a first-class degree or equivalent from a recognised university/institution in India
  • fulfill the below-mentioned academic criteria:
    • Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Fine Arts, Architecture, and related subjects: a minimum academic grade of 65%, CGPA 6.8/10, or GPA 2.6/4
    • Mathematics, Sciences, Environment, and related subjects: a minimum academic grade of 70%, CGPA 7.2/10, or GPA 2.8/4 
  • hold an English language certification as a conditional part of their offer letter
  • have received a valid deferred offer letter for the academic year 2026-27

Note:- 

  • Candidates having a postgraduate qualification (e.g. Master’s or Ph.D.) from an institution abroad are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who are already studying or have started their postgraduate education at an institution abroad are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants who hold an undergraduate degree from a recognised foreign university, with two years of continuous residence, employment, or study in India after graduation are eligible.

The application process is entirely online, with the deadline set for March 31, 2026 (12PM IST). Students are encouraged to apply early due to the competitive nature of the program.
