MUT ADT University to Host One Day National Conference on Viksit Bharat@2047

The School of Indian Civil Services (SICS) at MIT-ADT University, Pune, has announced a Call for Papers for an ICSSR (Western Regional Centre)–sponsored One-Day National Conference themed “Viksit Bharat @2047: Empowering People, Enabling Policies, Elevating Institutions.” The conference will be held on 27 February 2026.

Pune - MIT-ADT University, through its School of Indian Civil Services, will organise a one-day national conference aimed at advancing academic and policy-oriented discourse aligned with India’s long-term development vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. The conference is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Western Regional Centre.

The conference seeks to bring together faculty members, research scholars, postgraduate students, policy practitioners, professionals and independent researchers to deliberate on people-centric governance, ethical public administration, resilient institutions and India's civilizational wisdom. It aims to encourage informed governance, strategic diplomacy and academic innovation as  drivers of a developed and self-reliant India. 

Important dates related to the conference include the notification of acceptance on 10 February 2026, full paper submission by 25 February 2026, and the conference scheduled to be held on 27 February 2026.

As per the submission guidelines, abstracts should be between 250 and 300 words and must include 5–6 keywords. Full-length papers should range from 4,000 to 5,000 words and follow either the APA or Chicago style of formatting. Manuscripts must be typed in Times New Roman, using a 12-point font with 1.5 line spacing. Only original and unpublished research papers will be considered for presentation.

The conference is open to faculty members, research scholars (PhD), postgraduate students, policy practitioners, professionals, and independent researchers, providing a diverse academic and policy-oriented platform for discussion. The registration fee for participation has been set at ₹1,000 for faculty members and ₹700 for research scholars and students.
