Mumbai: The ICAR–Central Institute of Fisheries Education (ICAR-CIFE), Mumbai, has announced a Centre for Advanced Faculty Training (CAFT) programme titled “Next-Generation Diagnostics and Computational Techniques for Emerging Pathogen Surveillance and Management”. The programme will be conducted from February 4 to February 24, 2026, at the ICAR-CIFE campus in Mumbai.
Organised by the Aquatic Environment and Health Management (AEHM) Division, the training aims to strengthen capacity among faculty and researchers working in aquatic animal health, diagnostics, and aquaculture biotechnology. The programme is designed to address emerging and re-emerging diseases in aquaculture through advanced molecular, omics-based, and computational approaches.
