Mumbai: The Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), has invited applications for the ANRF National Postdoctoral Fellowship (NPDF). The fellowship is aimed at supporting motivated early-career researchers working in areas of science and engineering, providing them with structured financial and research support to pursue independent research.
Selected fellows will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹80,000 plus HRA, along with a research grant of ₹2 lakh per annum and overheads of ₹1 lakh per annum. The fellowship is awarded for a duration of two years.
Applicants must hold a PhD/MD/MS degree, or have submitted their doctoral thesis, and should be within five years of their PhD viva-voce. The upper age limit is 35 years, with applicable relaxations as per norms. Fellows are required to work at an institution different from where they earned their doctoral degree, ensuring academic mobility and independence.
