HBNI to Host Research Scholars Symposium in Chemical Sciences 2026 in Mumbai

Two-day symposium will bring together doctoral researchers to present work across diverse chemical science disciplines

Mumbai: Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) will organise the Research Scholars Symposium in Chemical Sciences (RSCC-2026) on April 17–18, 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Training School Hostel (TSH), Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.

The two-day academic event is designed as a platform for PhD and Integrated PhD scholars registered under HBNI to present their research and engage in scientific discussions with peers and faculty members from institutes affiliated with the university.

The symposium will feature plenary talks by eminent scientists, along with oral presentations, flash talks and poster sessions covering multiple areas of chemical sciences. The event aims to encourage interdisciplinary exchange and strengthen collaboration among research scholars across HBNI’s constituent institutes and off-campus centres.

Participation in the symposium will be through online registration only, and there will be no registration fee. Scholars are also invited to submit research abstracts, with selected participants receiving opportunities to present their work through oral talks or posters.

To encourage academic excellence, the organisers will also present Best Poster and Best Oral Presentation awards during the symposium.
