Pune: The online foundation course for UPSC will be conducted by the students for the students. The experienced students will act as resource persons for various subjects and will help in preparing and developing the foundation of all those students who are interested in pursuing their career in UPSC competitive Examination. The students who have given few attempts or are preparing for this exam can guide and help the students to understand the basic mechanism of competitive examination. This mechanism will also help student resource persons to prepare the subject of their choice by engaging in teaching and learning mechanisms. The foundation course is totally free so that students from rural areas and economically weaker sections can primarily develop orientation towards competitive examinations.
The subjects covered in the course will be :

- 2. History
- 3. Geography
- 4. Economics
- 5. Logic
- 6. Science & Technology
- 7. Sociology
- 8. Current Affairs
All students are required to register for the course
Only first 500 registered students will be allowed for the course
No certificate will be issued. All the sessions will be conducted by expert student resource persons. Except for evaluation of resource persons no teachers are involved. Attendance is compulsory.
Eligibility
The eligibility for the course is the student of SPPU & affiliated colleges can be a part of it. The resource persons will be expert students from various colleges. The mode of conduct will be online.
Frequency and Teaching Hours
The frequency of conducting lectures will be 1 hour daily. The total teaching hours will be 30. There are neither registration fees nor any course fees; it is completely a free course. One student resource person from each subject will be awarded with Certificate of Excellence. Certificates will be awarded to all the student resource persons. The selection of best student resource person will be done by the teachers of respective subjects
