Mumbai: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Maharashtra has issued a notice to all government staff about the guidelines to be followed for the successful implementation of the SADHANA Saptah in the state from 2nd April to 8th April, 2026.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Karmayogi Bharat. It is designed as a week of digital learning engagements for civil servants, primarily through the courses listed on the iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) Karmayogi online learning platform. These learning engagements are spread across 93 Central Ministries and Departments, 30 states and union territories implementing Mission Karmayogi, and over 200 civil services training institutions.
The DTE Maharashtra has notified all government officers and employees to ensure their participation by completing the prescribed courses listed on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. These courses are to be completed between 2nd and 8th April with a total cumulative duration of at least 4 hours.
The curated course list on the portal is themed around Technology, Tradition & Tangible Outcomes, and focuses on AI and emerging technologies, Indian Knowledge Systems and indigenous innovations, and outcome-oriented governance and public value creation, respectively. It includes up to 50 courses across Beginner, Intermediate, and iGOT Marketplace Course levels.
For excellent performance during the week, heads of office, such as Department Secretaries and Divisional Commissioners, will be awarded a certificate of appreciation during the TECH-Wari 2.0 or the Maharashtra Tech Learning Week which is to be held in May, 2026.
