Chandrakant Patil Unveils G20 Yuva Samvaad @ 2047 at HSNC University, Mumbai

The G20@Yuva Samvaad @ 2047 event, hosted by HSNC State Cluster University in Mumbai, brought together youth voices to envision a progressive future. The event was inaugurated by Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil, Minister of Higher and Technical Education.

Mumbai: The HSNC State Cluster University, Mumbai was abuzz with energy as the NSS Unit and Department of Student Development jointly orchestrated the momentous G20@Yuva Samvaad @ 2047 event. The event, held at the prestigious K.C College auditorium, focused on amplifying the voices of the youth, envisioning their role in shaping the world's future. The inauguration was a grand affair graced by Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil, the esteemed Minister of Higher and Technical Education. The event also saw the participation of Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, Provost, and Dr Hemlata K Bagla, Vice-Chancellor of HSNC University.

With a warm welcome from Dr Hemlata Bagla, Hon. Vice-Chancellor of HSNC University, the inauguration marked a significant milestone for the institution, founded in June 2020. Dr Bagla's opening remarks resonated with the "Yuva Bharat" theme, emphasizing the integral role of young individuals in propelling India towards development and progress.

Hon. Provost, Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, took the stage to inspire the youth by referencing the remarkable journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Dr Hiranandani drew parallels between the Prime Minister's humble beginnings as a 'chaiwallah' and his rise to leadership, motivating the attendees to harness their potential and achieve great heights.

The keynote address by Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil resonated strongly with the audience. He emphasised the significance of Yuva Samvaad, highlighting personal growth and its correlation with the nation's advancement. Shri Patil urged the youth to embrace compassion and actively contribute to the betterment of the marginalised segments of society.

The program was expertly anchored by Professor Priyamvada Samant, who administered the five core pledges of G20@Yuva Samvaad. These pledges encapsulated the commitment of the youth towards positive change and global progress.

Expressing gratitude to all attendees and participants, Dr Bhagwan Balani, the Registrar of HSNC University and Principal of Bombay Teacher's Training College, delivered the vote of thanks during the event's closure.

A highlight of the event was the participation of 30 student speakers who passionately shared their visions of a transformative India. The standout speakers were recognised and honoured during the Valedictory session.

Dr Satish Kolte, Director of NSS and Director of Student Development at HSNC University, Mumbai, received accolades from both the Provost and Vice-Chancellor for his exceptional planning and execution of G20@Yuva Samvaad.
