Mumbai : BITS Law School organised an industry round table on “Content, Commerce & Compliance: Navigating India’s Evolving Media and Sports Ecosystem” on December 18, 2025, in Mumbai. Convened by its Industry Interface and Career Advancement (IICA) Office, the discussion brought together senior legal and industry professionals to examine regulatory and commercial challenges emerging from the convergence of media, sports, technology, and digital platforms.
Held under the aegis of BITS Pilani, the round table focused on compliance, governance, and legal risks in data-driven and technology-led business models. The session featured a keynote by Anand Desai, Managing Partner, DSK Legal, and was moderated by Sameer Chugh, Chief Legal Officer, Games24x7. Discussions highlighted the need for balanced regulation, context-specific approaches to self-regulation, and clearer frameworks for emerging areas such as AI in gaming and e-sports.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A, felicitation of speakers, and networking, reinforcing BITS Law School’s commitment to industry-academia engagement and preparing students for careers in technology-led sectors.
