Maharashtra: In Maharashtra, 8.65% of students are unable to pass the SSC exam. The passing rate for the girls' students is 94.26%, while the boys' passing rate is 88.79%.
The SSC school mostly has students from middle or lower-income groups. The children of the blue-collar employees mostly take education from the SCC board. 1,34,540 students failed in the SSC exam. It makes the state worried about the future of students. SSC board has 15,55,026 registered students for 10th standard, but only 15,42,472 students appeared in the examination centres. SO, 12554 students didn't appear in the examination centres only because they were not present. The students who could not give exams due to their absence. The Maharashtra examination centre has strict rules for latecomers in the exam centre.
In 2022, the SSC exam board give Strick rules to the SSC and HSC students, stating that students reporting late will not be able to give the exam. If the student is stuck in an unwanted circumstance, they will be allowed into the examination centre only after the signature of the board official. In any situation where a student is already late, how can they be able to take permission from the SSC board official, unless the official is present to give permission? In that case, it will also take more time for students to give the exam. This is also true; the students’ needs are punctual toward the time, but sometimes the situation gets out of control. In some cases, traffic could be the major reason for students to be late for the exam. Or sometimes the exam centre is far away from the student’s location. There are many factors which effects students for students to not be able to reach the exam centres. But it is the responsibility of the authorities to make the process easy for students.
After giving the exams, 1,34,540 students failed in high school exams. This number is only 8.65% in total number of number of students. It has a major loss in the real world. The government and present are investing resources in their future because they are the future. The SSC needs to focus more on their own equation system and method of teaching. The data is showing the system is lacking in many ways. The nation and students need to have a secure future.
