Pune: The Center for Science Education and Communication (CSEC), Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), has invited applications for one post of Project Assistant–I on a temporary basis. Eligible candidates with a background in Physics or Mathematics are encouraged to apply.

According to the official advertisement issued on January 17, 2026, the appointment will initially be valid till March 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension up to March 31, 2029. It is subject to project requirements and performance. The post is purely temporary in nature.

The university has indicated that preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with school children, teacher training programmes, and innovative or experiential teaching methods. Skills such as hands-on engagement, exploratory laboratories or experimental kits for science education will be considered desirable.
