AMU invites applications for Project Fellow and Wildlife Biologist posts under wildlife research project.

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University has released a project advertisement inviting applications for temporary research positions in the Department of Wildlife Sciences.

The recruitment is being conducted under a project titled “Development of Animal Passage Plan and Impact Assessment in Protected Area of Uttar Pradesh.”

The university is hiring for the posts of Project Fellow (2 positions) and Wildlife Biologist (1 position). Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹20,000 for Project Fellows and ₹25,000 for Wildlife Biologist.

Candidates applying for the positions must have a Master’s degree in Wildlife Science, Biodiversity Studies, or related fields with at least 55% marks.

The duration of the fellowship is 9 months, and the positions are purely temporary and project-based.

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications via email along with a brief biodata and supporting documents before April 11, 2026 (5:00 PM).

Officials stated that the project aims to support wildlife conservation planning and ecological impact assessment in protected areas, contributing to sustainable environmental management.
