New Delhi: The Government of India launched the ‘Yuva Sangam’ portal in New Delhi. Under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, it is an initiative to strengthen the cultural and emotional ties between youth belonging to North Eastern India and other states. 

According to their official website, The Yuga Sangam will organize exposure visits for students/youths. It also aims to cover different aspects to celebrate India’s cultural diversity and the spirit of oneness. These aspects are- Paryatan (tourism), Parampara (Traditions), Pragati(Development), Praudyogiki (Technology) and Paraspar Sampark (People-to-people connect). 

The portal is launched with the collaboration of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Education, Railways, Youth Affairs and Sports, Information and Broadcasting, Home Affairs, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, IRCTC and AICTE. All Indian citizens of the age group 18-30 years are invited to apply for ‘Yuva Sangam’. Interested persons can register at their official website https://ebsb.aicte-india.org/. The last date for registration is 12th February 2023.
