Yuva Sangam Phase VII: Registration Deadline Extended to 31 August 2026

New Delhi, 19 August 2026: The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for online registration for Yuva Sangam Phase VII to 31 August 2026. More young people will now have the opportunity to apply for the national youth exchange programme within the framework of the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB) initiative.

The original deadline was set at 31 August 2026. This extension allows youth from across India to participate in the programme that promotes understanding of the cultures of different regions of the country, as well as providing educational and developmental opportunities and interaction among young citizens from different states and union territories.

Online registrations for Yuva Sangam Phase VII began on 4 August 2026. According to the official announcement, applicants ranging from 18 to 30 years old, including students, volunteers serving in the NSS (National Service Scheme) and NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan) and young professionals, could register through the portal Yuva Sangam.

The online registration for Phase VII has been opened on the official Yuva Sangam website for all eligible applicants. Those between the ages of 18-30 are eligible to apply for Yuva Sangam. They include students at higher education institutions, NSS and NYKS volunteers and young professionals. The extension of the date of registration given by the earlier deadline of August 18 increases the opportunity for those who could not complete their applications by then.

20 Higher Education Institutions to Facilitate Exchange

Phase VII will be carried out by 20 higher education institutions. Among these are IITs, IIMs, Central Universities and NITs. The participants will go on educational and cultural visits to their allocated partner States and Union Territories without additional travel days, making the duration of their visits between 5 to 7 days. There, they will get the opportunity to experience the local traditions, education system, governance and innovation, sites of historical importance and community life.
