Yogi Adityanath Pens Open Letter to UP Board Students: “Failure Is Not the End”

After UP Board 2026 results, CM Yogi Adityanath writes a motivational letter urging students to stay positive, embrace failure, and keep moving forward.

New Delhi.: Following the declaration of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Class 10 and Class 12 results, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shared a heartfelt open letter addressed to students across the state.

In his message, the Chief Minister congratulated students who performed well and encouraged those who were dissatisfied with their results, reminding them that a single examination does not define one’s life or future.

Praise for Successful Students

CM Yogi described this year’s board results as encouraging and a reflection of students’ discipline, dedication, and perseverance.

He extended his congratulations and best wishes to all successful candidates, expressing confidence that they will continue to bring pride to the state in the future.

 Message for Students Facing Disappointment

Addressing students who could not achieve their expected scores, the Chief Minister emphasized that success and failure are both natural phases of life.

He acknowledged that while success brings joy, setbacks can lead to disappointment—but stressed that students should not lose hope and instead continue striving forward with determination.

 “Charaiveti-Charaiveti”: Keep Moving Forward

Invoking the ancient mantra “Charaiveti-Charaiveti” (Keep Moving Forward), CM Yogi encouraged students to adopt a mindset of continuous effort and resilience.

He highlighted that:

  • Setbacks should act as stepping stones, not roadblocks
  • Failures often lay the foundation for future success
  • Every challenge offers a chance for a new beginning

Using a powerful metaphor, he explained that gold becomes pure only after being tested in fire, underlining the importance of perseverance during difficult times.

  Inspirational Examples

To motivate students, the Chief Minister referred to renowned personalities who overcame failures:

  • Thomas Alva Edison, who succeeded after numerous failed experiments
  • Srinivasa Ramanujan, who achieved greatness despite facing challenges

These examples, he noted, show that determination and belief can transform setbacks into success.

 Message to Parents

CM Yogi also addressed parents, urging them to support and guide their children emotionally, especially during challenging times.

He advised parents to:

  • Avoid discouragement over unfavourable results
  • Recognize their child’s interests and strengths
  • Encourage exploration of diverse career paths

He emphasized that children are the future of the nation, and nurturing their talents is essential for their growth and confidence.

 A Message of Hope

The Chief Minister concluded by reinforcing that no result is final and every student has the potential to succeed with the right mindset and continued effort.
