- XAT 2026 Mock Test Window Opens from October 29 to November 1: Apply by October 26
Jamshedpur: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026, conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, has announced its official mock test window from October 29 (12 PM) to November 1, 2025 (12 PM). Aspirants must complete their XAT 2026 applications by October 26, 2025, to gain access to the mock test and familiarize themselves with the real exam format.
Dr. Rahul Shukla, Convenor of XAT and Admissions at XLRI, said,
“The mock test helps candidates evaluate their preparation, improve time management, and build confidence before the main exam.”
About the XAT 2026 Mock Test
The mock test replicates the actual XAT exam, allowing candidates to understand its structure, difficulty level, and time distribution. It includes four key sections:
- Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VALR)
- Decision Making (DM)
- Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (QA & DI)
- General Knowledge (GK)
The test duration is 3 hours, featuring approximately 95 questions. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, with 0.25 marks deducted for wrong answers (except GK). Candidates will also lose 0.10 marks for every 8 unattempted questions beyond the limit.
How to Access the Mock Test
Complete the XAT 2026 registration by October 26, 2025, at www.xatonline.in
- .Log in using your User ID and Password.
- Navigate to the ‘Mock Test’ section on the dashboard.
- Attempt the mock test within the specified window.
Eligibility for XAT 2026
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline.
- Final-year students completing graduation by June 12, 2026, are also eligible.
- There is no minimum percentage required for applying.
- The application process is fully online, involving registration, document upload, and fee payment.
