New Delhi - The New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 , being organised by the National Book Trust under the Ministry of Education, is scheduled to take place from January 10 to January 18, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The fair will be open to the public eceryday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM , and entry will be free to visitors.
The theme for this year is , "Indian Military History Valour and Wisdom @75" will showcase India's Rich Defence Legacy through specially curated exhibitions, book release and interactive discussions. The nine-day event is expected to feature over 3,000 stalls, participation from more than 1,000 publishers and over 600 literary and culture programmes such as Workshops, Poetry sessions and Panek talks.
Major highlights of the fair inlcude The Children's Pavilion, Author's Corner, International Zone, Theme Pavilion and the Rights Table along with the access to the Rashtriya-e-Pustkalaya offering over 6,000 free books in 23 Indian Languages with participation from more than 50 countries, the fair aims to promote reading culture and global publishing exchange.
