Hyderabad - KLH Aziz Nagar Campus conducted multiple academic and skill development initiative during January, aimed at strengtheing faculty capabilities, encouraging student innovation and advancing industry-alligned skills.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organised a five-day Skill Development Workshop titled “AI-Driven Models for Autonomous Navigation Systems” from January 27 to January 31, 2026. The workshop was fully sponsored by DST–I-Hub Data, IIIT Hyderabad, and focused on artificial intelligence-based navigation frameworks and autonomous systems through expert-led and hands-on sessions.
Earlier, the department conducted a National-Level Symposium, “Edutainment-2026,” on January 24, 2026. Mr. N. Muktheswara Rao Garu, IAS, graced the event as Chief Guest and addressed participants on innovation, ethical leadership, and public responsibility. The symposium featured 30 technical and fun-based stalls designed and presented by students, with support from sponsors Being Zero, Cognalis, Robosevak, and Hillsafe.
Additionally, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised a 5 day Staff Development Program titled "Modern Programming on Emerging Technologies" from January to 20 to January 24, 2026. The program covered AI-enabled Microsoft Office tools, Python Programming, and AI libraries, web development fundamentals and DevOps workflows. Staff members who successfully completed the program were awarded certificates of completion.
Speaking on the initiative Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KL Deemed to be University, said that these programmes reflect the institution's long term vision to strengthen faculty expertise, empower student-led innovation and advance future-oriented development skills.
The events were conducted under the leadership of Principal Dr. A.Ramakrishnan with active support from convenerers, faculty members and staff. Through this initiative , KLH Aziz Nagar Campus continues to bridge classrooms , learning with real world technological advancement.
