Haryana: The 7-day workshop on “Basic Animal Cell Culture Techniques” funded by DST-SERB has been concluded at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh on Friday. This is the first hands-on training workshop conducted by the Department of Biochemistry. 25 participants from different institutes across the country have participated and got trained in techniques of animal cell culture to be used for biomedical research. 

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor has praised the hard work of the faculty and wished the students for their bright future, and encouraged the faculty to conduct more programs and assured his support for everyone, and distributed the certificates to the participants. 

Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean SIAS and Research congratulated the organizers of the workshop. Dr. Mulaka Maruthi, the Event organizer detailed the workshop events and techniques taught to the participants and thanked DST-SERB Accelerate Vigyan for funding. The participants from Madurai Kamaraj University and Kurukshetra University expressed their gratitude and shared their experiences during their training. Dr. Antresh Kumar, Dr. Usha Nagarajan and Dr. Saurabh Saxena are in the organizing team.
