Wonders of Innovation was organized in CUH

Large scale exhibition and competitions were organized at the University level.

 

Mahendragarh : On the occasion of National Science Day, Wonders of Innovation was organized at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh in collaboration with Haryana State Council of Science and Technology and Department of Science and Technology, Government of Haryana.

 The event was inaugurated at the University's Center for Innovation and Incubation by Pro Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Sushma Yadav and on this occasion while congratulating the convener of the program Prof. Sunita Srivastava, she said that this event will definitely be helpful in the development of research, innovation and scientific thinking among the school, college and University students who have reached here. Through his message the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar described this event important for the continuous development and promotion of new thinking from the scientific point of view and said that through this, not only the participants but also those who watch this program will be inspired to do something new.

Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Convener of the programme said that more than 400 participants participated in this event. Various types of competitions were also organized under this programme in which painting, speech, quiz competitions were prominent. In this sequence, different types of models focused on topics like idea of innovation, working models, new startup idea and better use of waste were displayed by the participants. This time the theme of organizing the Science Day program has been set as Global Science for Global Wellbeing focused on which many models like smart city, wind energy, smart toll plaza etc. were displayed by the participants. On this occasion the Registrar of the University, Prof. Sunil Kumar, Dean Academics Prof. Sanjiv Kumar, Dean Research Prof. NeelamSangwan, Director of Internal Quality and Assurance Cell, Prof. Sarika Sharma were present.

Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Convener of the programme said that along with the various competitions organized on Friday, the exhibitions have also been evaluated by the jury. Based on the decision of the Jury, the award ceremony will be held and the winners will be felicitated after the expert lecture organized on the occasion of National Science Day on 28th February. Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta said that the entire organizing committee played an important role in the success of this event and for the first time such large scale exhibition and competitions were organized at the University level.
