New Delhi: Centre for Jawaharlal Nehru Studies (CJNS) Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) organized a webinar on June 10, 2022 on the topic ‘Nehruvian Economic Model: A Contemporary Analysis’.  Prof. Amit Kumar Rai, who is the Dean, IIMT College of Management, Chaudhary Charan Singh University delivered a talk on the above topic.

Prof. Amit Kumar Rai, in the first part of his lecture, spoke on the challenges that were faced by the India and the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru post 1947. Prof. Rai, in the second part of the talk focused on the Nehruvian economy and made an evaluation based on the contemporary global reality. The speaker also then invited questions from the participants.

Research Scholars, faculty members of JMI and other institutions and all the participants made the webinar a huge success.
