New Delhi: The new session of the Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School started with a three-day celebration of the Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) from (August 10 to 12, 2022) with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.

Students of class X displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters drawn by them spreading the message of “Unity in Diversity”. The NCC cadets of Jamia Girls Sr. Sec. School participated in this event wholeheartedly. The theme was Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the highlight of the event was the Human Chain formed by all students of class X, exhibiting their sketches on a long string.

This was followed by the slogan Writing activity by the students of class XII whereby the students in groups of ten presented their slogans on the Wall of Unity in the School’s Assembly Area. A Tiranga Rally was organized by the school students where they marched inside the school campus chanting “Jhanda Ooncha Rahey Hamara “.It was a splendid sight to see and the atmosphere was filled with an air of Patriotism. The Principal and the teaching staff of the Girls School were present all the way throughout the event.
