VTU Belagavi to Host Smart India Hackathon 2025 Grand Finale

Visvesvaraya Technological University will serve as a nodal centre for the Smart India Hackathon 2025 grand finale on December 8–9.

Belagavi: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi has been selected as a nodal centre for the grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, scheduled for December 8 and 9. The event will bring together shortlisted student teams from across India to work on innovation-led problem statements issued by various ministries and industry partners.

As a nodal centre, VTU will host students, mentors and evaluators for multiple hardware and software tracks. The university has stated that preparations are underway to provide a collaborative and well-equipped environment for the participating teams. SIH remains one of the largest innovation competitions in the country, encouraging young talent to design practical, tech-driven solutions for national challenges.
