New guest house Started at CUH.

 Haryana The newly constructed guest house at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh was
Started on Wednesday. The Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar started the
use of this new building by performing Havan with various participants of the University. The Vice-
Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said on the occasion that till now the meeting of the
requirements of the guest house in the University was dependent on the facilities available in the
temporary residential complex. He said that now after the construction of new guest house, this
facility has become available in the permanent building of the University. On this occasion, Pro Vice
Chancellor of the University Prof. Sushma Yadav and First Lady of the University Prof. Sunita
Srivastava were present.
The newly constructed guest house in the University has been constructed by the Central Public
Works Department (CPWD). About three crore eighty seven lakh rupees (3.87 crore) have been
spent on its construction. As far as the facilities available here are concerned, this building has a
total arrangement of 12 rooms as well as facilities for meeting rooms, dining halls and parking etc.
The development of green area around this campus is also being done by the infrastructure
department of the University. Besides, this building located in the University campus is a one-storey
building with ground floor, which has been prepared in about 1160 square meters. On this occasion
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadav, First Lady of the
University Prof. Sunita Srivastava started plantation drive in the University campus.
