All India - Yantra India Limited (YIL) has officially released the aapprentice Recruitment Notification 2026 for the engagement of Apprentice and various trades. The recruitment drive aims to fill 3,979 Apprentice positions, providing a significant opportunity for young candidates seeking skill-based training in the defence manufacturing sector.
According to the notification, the online application process commenced on February 1, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications up to March 3, 2026 through the official website of YIL. The minimum age required to apply is 14 years, while the maximum age limit is 35 years, as on January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per prevailing apprentice rules and regulations.
Out of the total vacancies, 2,843 posts are earmarked for ITI trade apprentices, while 1,136 posts are reserved for Non-ITI trade Apprentices. Candidates applying for ITI trades must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognised institute, whereas Non-IT applicants should have passed class 10 with at least 50% marks.
The selection process for the apprentice posts will be based on shortlisting, followed by document verification and a medical examination. No written examination date has been announced so far, and further updates will be notified by YIL in due course.
Applicants are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying and ensure that they meet all eligibility conditions related to age, educational qualification and trade requirements. This apprenticeship programme is expected to enhance employability by offering hands-on training and exposure in a reputed public sector undertaking.
