UPSSSC PET City Intimation Slip 2026 Released at upsssc.gov.in

Uttar Pradesh: Candidates appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 can now check their allotted examination city. The commission released the UPSSSC PET City Intimation Slip 2026 on October 12, 2026, giving registered candidates time to plan their travel before the examination. The city intimation slip is available through the official website, upsssc.gov.in. The examination is scheduled for October 25, October 30 and November 1, 2026, with candidates appearing on their allotted date and shift.

Candidates should note that the city intimation slip is not the admit card. It provides advance information about the examination city or district, while the admit card will contain the examination-centre address and other instructions needed for exam day.

UPSSSC PET City Slip 2026: Key Highlights

Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates regarding the admit card, examination arrangements and any changes to the published schedule.

UPSSSC PET 2026 Exam Dates and Shift Timings

The UPSSSC PET 2026 examination is scheduled to take place across three dates in October and November. According to reports on the city-slip release, the examination will be conducted in two shifts each day.

Candidates must check their individual examination details to confirm their allotted date and shift. The schedule does not mean that every candidate must appear on all three dates.

What Details Are Mentioned on the UPSSSC PET City Slip?

After downloading the city intimation slip, candidates should review the information provided in the document. The details may include:

• Candidate's name
• Father's name or husband's name, where applicable
• Date of birth and gender
• Examination date and shift
• Allotted examination city or district

Candidates who notice discrepancies or cannot access their slip should follow the instructions issued by UPSSSC. Any correction or assistance request should be made through the commission's official channels.

UPSSSC PET City Slip vs Admit Card: What's the Difference?

Although both documents are related to the examination, they serve different purposes. The city intimation slip tells candidates which city or district has been allotted for their examination. It helps them make travel arrangements before the test but does not replace the admit card.

The admit card provides the examination-centre address and relevant instructions for the day of the test. Candidates should download it once available and check their reporting time, centre details and other requirements. The exact admit-card release date should be confirmed through an official UPSSSC notification. Candidates should not treat the release of the city intimation slip as confirmation that the admit card is also available.

What Should Candidates Do After Downloading the City Slip?

With the examination city information available, candidates should start preparing for the next steps rather than waiting until the last minute. First, check the allotted examination date and shift. If the city is far from home, plan the journey in advance and allow enough time to reach the venue. Candidates should also keep their registration details handy and monitor the official website for the admit card.

Before leaving for the examination, verify the exact centre address and reporting instructions printed on the admit card. The city intimation slip alone may not provide enough information to identify the examination venue. For further updates, candidates should rely on the official UPSSSC website and the notices published by the commission.
