New Delhi. : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the dates for the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025. The interview round—the final and crucial step of the selection process—will begin on Monday, December 8, 2025, and conclude on Friday, December 19, 2025.
This announcement comes shortly after the declaration of the Civil Services Main Examination results on November 11, 2025, marking the transition of shortlisted candidates to the final evaluation stage.
Interview Schedule and Reporting Instructions
UPSC has released the first list of 649 shortlisted candidates, along with their roll numbers, interview dates, and allotted sessions.
- Forenoon Session Reporting Time: 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Session Reporting Time: 1:00 PM
The Commission has clearly stated that requests for rescheduling interview dates or timings will generally not be entertained, emphasizing strict compliance with the announced timetable.
Travel Reimbursement and E-Summon Letters
Candidates appearing for the interviews will be eligible for travel reimbursement, limited strictly to the Second/Sleeper Class (Mail/Express) train fare. No additional expenses beyond this category will be covered.
UPSC will soon release e-Summon Letters on its official websites:
Candidates must download and carry a printed copy of the e-Summon Letter to the interview venue for verification and entry purposes.
