New Delhi, March 6, 2026 : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the final result of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 today, March 6, 2026. A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various prestigious services including IAS, IPS, IFS and other central services.

Among the successful candidates, 659 are men and 299 are women. Notably, the top five candidates include one woman and four men, reflecting strong competition among aspirants across the country.

The Civil Services Examination 2025 witnessed massive participation from aspirants across India.

  • Total Applicants: 9,37,876
  • Candidates Appeared in Preliminary Exam: 5,76,793
  • Qualified for Main Examination: 14,161
  • Qualified for Personality Test (Interview): 2,736
  • Finally Recommended Candidates: 958

The Preliminary Examination was conducted on 25 May 2025, while the Main Examination was held in August 2025, followed by the Personality Test (Interview).
