 New Delhi : : The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, has officially extended the deadline for the UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling registration. Candidates who missed the previous window now have an additional opportunity to apply for MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota. 

 
Revised Schedule for Round 1
According to the latest notification, the registration window will reopen on August 13, 2026, at 11:00 PM. Eligible candidates can submit their forms until August 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM. 
 

The deadline for paying the online registration fee and the mandatory security deposit has also been extended. Candidates must complete all financial transactions by 5:00 PM on August 14, 2026

Steps to Apply Online

Candidates can complete their registration by following these simple steps: 
 
  1. Visit the official website at upneet.gov.in
     
  2. Select the "Registration UG (MBBS/BDS)" link available on the homepage. 
     
  3. Log in using your NEET UG Roll Number and Application Number. 
     
  4. Fill in the required personal, academic, and contact details. 
     
  5. Upload scanned copies of the necessary documents. 
     
  6. Pay the registration fee and security money using the online payment gateway. 
     
  7. Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference. 
     
Important Guidelines for Candidates
Only candidates who have qualified for NEET UG 2026 are eligible to participate in the state pool counselling. DMET has advised applicants to ensure all uploaded documents are clear and valid, as any discrepancy could lead to the rejection of their candidature during online verification.
