UP Board Result 2026 Declared: Girls Outshine Boys Again, Check Full Details

Lucknow ; The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially announced the UP Board Result 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12, bringing relief and excitement to more than 50 lakh students across the state.

Along with the results, the board has released detailed statistics including overall pass percentages, toppers list, and gender-wise performance analysis.

Overall Performance

This year, Class 10 recorded an impressive pass percentage of 90.4%, while Class 12 stood at 80.32%, reflecting a stable academic performance trend.

Girls Continue to Lead

Girls have once again outperformed boys in both classes:

Class 12:

  • Girls: 86.32%
  • Boys: 75.04%
  • Difference: 11.28%

Class 10:

  • Girls: 93.76%
  • Boys: 87.30%
  • Difference: 6.46%

This consistent trend highlights stronger academic outcomes among female students in the state.

Top Performers

  • Class 12 Topper: Shikha Verma – 97.60%

Class 10 Toppers:

  • Kashish Verma (Babu Ram Savitri Devi Inter College, Sitapur) – 97.83%
  • Anshika Verma (Modern Academy Inter College) – 97.83%

Participation Statistics

A total of 24,86,072 students appeared for the Class 12 examination, including:

  • 13,09,397 boys
  • 11,76,675 girls
  • Over 76,000 private candidates

This highlights the massive scale at which UP Board examinations are conducted annually.

Compartment Exams

Students who could not clear one or more subjects will get another opportunity through compartment exams. The schedule for these exams is expected to be released soon by UPMSP.

Dr. Mahendra Dev, Director of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, emphasized:
