New Delhi.: The University of Worcester, one of the UK’s leading higher education institutions, has announced merit-based scholarships of up to £3,000 (approximately ₹3.58 lakh) per year for Indian students applying to postgraduate courses beginning in January 2026.
The initiative is part of the university’s effort to attract talented students from India amid growing demand for UK universities offering academic excellence, practical learning, and globally recognised degrees.
Wide Range of Postgraduate Programmes
Indian applicants can choose from an array of postgraduate courses across business and management disciplines, including:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- MSc Human Resource Management
- MSc International Management
- MSc Marketing
- MSc Project Management
- MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- MSc Global Sustainable Management
These programmes are designed to equip students with advanced business knowledge, leadership skills, and industry-oriented competencies, preparing them for success in global career environments.
Professional Placement Opportunities
In addition to classroom learning, the University of Worcester offers 6- or 12-month professional placements with UK-based employers. These placements provide students with hands-on industry experience, helping them apply theoretical knowledge to real business challenges and build strong professional profiles.
English Language Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:
IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5, with at least 5.5 in each component
Pearson PTE: Overall score of 63, with no less than 63 in each section
Cambridge English or other equivalent qualifications recognised by the university
Students needing additional preparation can enroll in pre-sessional English courses offered by the Centre for Academic English and Skills, which help them meet language requirements before starting their degree.
Additionally, alumni returning for a full-time Master’s or PhD within two years of completing their undergraduate degree at Worcester are eligible for a 20% tuition fee discount.

Dr Scott Andrews, Head of Worcester Business School, highlighted the university’s focus on experiential and applied learning.
