University of Arizona accepting applications for Global Wildcat Scholarships

Candidates can apply for the Global Wildcat Scholarship at University of Arizona website – everywhere.arizona.edu/apply/undergraduate.

 

New Delhi. : The University of Arizona is offering scholarships to its undergraduate and transfer international students for the academic year 2024-25. University of Arizona’s Global Wildcat Scholarships award between $5,000 and $23,000.

Candidates can apply for the Global Wildcat Scholarship at University of Arizona website – everywhere.arizona.edu/apply/undergraduate.

This scholarship amount will be allocated by deduction of tuition fees for the allotted year. Starting from a reward of $5,000 for students with a GPA of 3.0 and above, the award scales up to a reward of $23,000 for students who maintain a GPA of 4.0 at the time of application.  
The University of Arizona’s Global Wildcat Award is provided annually to a limited group of undergraduate international students who are enrolled at the university. Eligibility for the scholarship is conferred automatically along with their application, at the time of submission. 


Students must also “demonstrate exceptional academic achievements” and test scores at TOEFL, IELTS and PTE academic, along with maintaining a specified GPA as part of their application to be considered eligible for the scholarship. 
Students who meet the criteria for the Global Wildcat Award scholarship will be notified via email once they are selected. 

The scholarship “not only acknowledges their dedication to studies but also empowers the students to pursue their educational journey without financial concerns,” the statement added.
 
Set up in 1885, the university is widely recognised as a student-centric university and has been designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution by the US Department of Education. The university is ranked in the top 20 in 2021 in research expenditures among all public universities, according to the National Science Foundation and is a leading Research 1 institution with $824 million in annual research expenditures.
