New Delhi: UGC-Approved Short Term Professional Development Programme in 'Research in Distance and Online Learning' in online mode from July 14 to 21, 2022. 

This would help the faculty - both teachers and academics in formulating research proposals and conducting research which would lead to quality research publications and institutional quality. This programme would enable to refresh knowledge on research in distance and online learning and give insight with experiential knowledge in it. This STP is activity based practical oriented programme. 

These programme will help in understanding the essential necessity of research in distance and online learning, refreshing skills in research methodology for distance and online learning, Forming appropriate online data collection tools, Exposure to analyze various statistical techniques used for research, Developing skills to prepare research papers for publication in refereed journals. 

The participants could be Teachers and Academics from IGNOU, State Open Universities Distance Educational Institutes (Delhi). Activities will include Preparing Research Proposal Using Mendeley, Concept Mapping and Google Form. 

As per UGC-HRDC guidelines, the evaluation strategies for grading and certification shall include: Holistic response (25 marks), Presentation (15 marks), Assignments(20 marks), MCQ (40 marks). Certificate shall be issued to those who secure a minimum of 50% score out of 100. As equivalent to UGC-HRDC, this certificate shall be considered for API and CAS too.
