NTA has stated that a separate public notice regarding these three subjects will be issued based on the committee's recommendations.

UGC NET Answer Key Challenge Fee to Be Refunded

A key feature of the UGC NET June 2026 challenge process is that the ₹200 processing fee will be refunded in full if the challenge is accepted by the subject experts.

Candidates do not need to submit the same objection multiple times. If a challenge is found correct on merit, the correction will be applied uniformly to all candidates of the concerned subject.

The challenges will be examined by designated subject matter experts. If an objection is found valid, the provisional answer key will be revised and candidates' responses will be evaluated against the revised final answer key for preparation of the result.

Final Answer Key After Challenge Process

The final answer key prepared after considering the challenges will be treated as final. NTA will publish the revised final answer key on its official website before declaration of the results.

Individual candidates will not be informed separately about whether their particular challenge has been accepted or rejected. No further challenge or grievance regarding the answer key will be entertained after the challenge window closes or after the result is declared.

Candidates are advised to carefully check their recorded responses and submit only genuine objections supported by appropriate reasoning or evidence.

For the latest updates, candidates should rely only on official communications from NTA and visit the official websites nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
