UGC Extends Registration Deadline for Yuva Sangam Phase VI Under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat

New Delhi. : The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for Yuva Sangam Phase VI, an initiative under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) programme by the Ministry of Education.

According to the official notice, the decision to extend the deadline follows a recommendation from the Ministry of Education (Department of Higher Education). The move aims to ensure wider and more inclusive participation, particularly among students from rural areas, female students, and youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

  • The revised last date for online registration is now March 25, 2026, until 11:59 PM.

Yuva Sangam is a unique initiative designed to strengthen people-to-people connections among youth across different states and Union Territories of India. It promotes cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and national integration in line with the vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

Interested students and youth can apply through the official registration portal. Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country have been urged to actively promote the programme and encourage maximum participation among students and faculty members.

Additionally, detailed resources such as programme guidelines, concept notes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been made available online for applicants.

UGC has called upon institutions and students to contribute towards making Yuva Sangam Phase VI a success and strengthen the spirit of unity in diversity across the nation.
