Two day National Seminar starts at CUH

:- The seminar sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and organized in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir

 

Haryana: A two-day national seminar focusing on ‘Extremism in Afghanistan and its Impact on India and Asian region inaugurated at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. While addressing the inaugural session of the seminar sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and organized in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, CUH said that this seminar will help us to understand the causes of the changed situation in Afghanistan and its impact on the country as well as on the world. The experts involved in the event will definitely help in calming the various curiosities of the participants towards this topic.

Capt. Alok Bansal, Director, India Foundation and keynote speaker of the seminar said that social science is a subject in which changes are seen in the results in accordance with the circumstances. It is difficult to achieve the same results at every level. He also pointed to the changing situation in Afghanistan and its implications for India and Asia.

In addition to the inaugural session held on the first day, Prof. Sanjay Srivastava from Banaras Hindu University and Prof. Manish from Central University of Gujarat and writer Ms. Nidhi Bahuguna participated in other sessions.

Researchers from various universities and educational institutes also presented their research papers at this event.
