Two Day International Conference on Hindu Studies to Be Held at Central University of Gujarat

The conference will explore Dharma, civilization and science through interdisciplinary academic discussions.

Vadodara: The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) will host a two-day international conference titled “The Hindu Studies in India: Dharma, Civilisation and Science” on February 19 and 20, 2026. The conference aims to bring together scholars from across disciplines to examine India’s intellectual and civilisational traditions.

The conference will focus on a wide range of themes spanning Dharma and Darshan, Civilisation, and Science and Technology, encouraging scholarly engagement with philosophical, cultural and scientific dimensions of Hindu studies. Topics include Indian philosophy, Hindu metaphysics, aesthetics, ancient knowledge systems, traditional medicine, astronomy, architecture, mathematics and indigenous technologies.

Academicians, faculty members and research scholars are invited to submit abstracts and full papers in English or Hindi. The organisers have announced a structured submission and review timeline, with registration opening shortly after abstract acceptance.

The event will be held at the Central University of Gujarat, Kundhela campus, Vadodara, and will include keynote sessions, paper presentations and thematic discussions.
