Chennai : Two students of BVM International School, Shollinganallur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Aparna Karthick Rajesh from Grade 10 and Sasrika Bellamkonda from Grade 6, were awarded the Outstanding Pearson Learner Award (OPLA) award. The award was given to them by Mr Ben Greshon, Portfolio Manager, PSQ Global Product and Mr Baljit Singh, Regional Manager.

The students were awarded for scoring the highest subject marks in the country for iLower Secondary 2021 exam and iPrimary 2022 exam respectively conducted by Pearson Edexcel. Aparna scored highest in Math and Sasrika scored highest in English and Science.

The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards 2022 (OPLAs) was conducted in Chennai on 24th February 2023 (Friday). It recognizes learners worldwide (outside the UK) who have taken Pearson Edexcel iPrimary, iLowerSecondary, International GCSE, GCSE, International AS/A level and A level examinations and have achieved outstanding results.BVM International School has also received the School Excellence Award 2022 from Pearson.

Mr. Ramana Prasad, the Chairman of BVM Global Group of Schools congratulated the students, their families, and the teachers who have helped them along the way. He also cited that the sky's the limit for both kids as they prepare for the next phase of their academic careers
