They need to go to the official SBTET website and click the “TG POLYCET 2026 Results” or “Rank Card” link on the homepage. They need to log in using their Hall Ticket Number and their password or date of birth. Once the result is displayed on the screen, it is advisable to download and save the result. Who Qualifies? Cut-Off Marks and Eligibility Criteria Explained

If you're one of those confused students who don't know exactly whether or not you have qualified, you can put question marks away because it’s very simple. Candidates who belong to the General category need to score a minimum of 36 marks out of 120, which equals 30 percent, to be said to have qualified. The same applies to the MBiPC stream, where the 30 per cent mark is applied to the consolidated score for Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. SC and ST category candidates are ranked even if they score 1 mark or less in the entrance test, and therefore are also eligible to take part in counselling for the reserved category seats.

The ranking is based solely on how the candidates performed on the entrance exam. The Class 10 or SSC marks have no value or importance in the calculation of the ranks. Wherever two or more candidates score the same marks, the breakage will be in the following order: higher marks in Mathematics, higher marks in Physics, the older candidate, and, lastly, higher marks in the SSC qualifying exam. From reference data from previous years, it is seen that the top government polytechnics had cut-off scores for General category students in the 90-95 range.
