Suryamaninagar, Tripura – Tripura University (A Central University) has issued two separate recruitment notifications for academic and research-based roles. The university is currently inviting applications for Project Technical Support-III positions in the Department of Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics and Guest Faculty roles in the Department of History.

1. Research Opportunity: Project Technical Support-III (ICMR Project)

The university is seeking qualified Indian citizens for contractual posts under an ICMR-funded project titled "Integrating Gut Microbiome, Hormonal Profiles, and Lifestyle Factors for AI-Driven Metabolic Risk Prediction in Adolescents from Tripura, Northeast India with Adipocyte Validation".

• Positions & Pay: There are two (2) vacancies with a monthly emolument of ₹30,800 (₹28,000 + 10% HRA).

• Eligibility: Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, Microbiology, or any relevant Life Sciences field with a minimum CGPA/Score of 60%.

• Desirable Skills: Preference will be given to those with professional certifications in Python, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or Machine Learning. Hands-on experience in PCR, Western Blot, and Culture Techniques is also highly valued.

• Duration: The initial appointment is until January 29, 2027, and is extendable based on performance and project needs.

• Eligibility: Criteria are strictly in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2018 (as amended).

• Interview Schedule: A walk-in interview will be held on February 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM (13:00 hours).

• Venue: Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat, Administrative Building, Tripura University.

• Preparation: Candidates should prepare a 10-minute presentation on their specialization or research area.
