Odisha - The School of Electrical and Computer Sciences, Indian Institute of Bhubaneswar is organizing a three-day Ntional Level Workshop titled "Advances in Resilient DER, Microgrid and Electrical Vehicle Technologies for Smart Grids" from 19th to 21st February 2026.
The workshop aims to address the key challenges and emerging trends in Distributed Energy Resources (DER), resilient microgrids, electric vehicles and smart grid technologies. It is supported under the Scheme for Promotions of Academic and Research Collaborations (SPARC) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India.
The programme will feature interactive sessions and expert talks by academicians and industry professionals from IITs , industry and abroad. Research scholars, students and young professionals working in power electronics and related applications are encouraged to participate.
Registration fees :
Research Scholars/Students : ₹500 + GST(18%)
Research Staff/Industry Professionals. : ₹1000 + GST(18%)
The registration fees includes access to all technical sessions, hands-on-training, coffee breaks and lunch during the workshop. Accommodations for the participants will be arranged in IIT Bhubaneswar hostels on a paid basis.
Last date for submission of application and registration fee = 12 February (5:00 PM)
Announcement of selected candidates = 13 February (6:00 PM)
