IIT Bhubaneswar to Host Workshop on Resilient DER and Smart Grid Technologies

The School of Electrical and Computer Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar will organise a three-day workshop on “Advances in Resilient DER, Microgrid, and Electric Vehicle Technologies for Smart Grids” from February 19 to 21, 2026. The programme is being conducted under the PARC initiative.

Bhubaneswar - The School of Electrical and Computer Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar) is set to host a specialised workshop on “Advances in Resilient Distributed Energy Resources (DER), Microgrid, and Electric Vehicle Technologies for Smart Grids” from February 19 to 21, 2026.

Organised under the PARC initiative, the workshop aims to bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to deliberate on emerging advancements in resilient power systems and smart grid integration. The sessions will focus on distributed energy resources, microgrid design and control, electric vehicle integration, and innovative solutions for enhancing grid reliability and sustainability.

The three-day programme is expected to feature expert lectures, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions highlighting cutting-edge research and real-world applications in smart energy systems. The workshop seeks to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry in the evolving domain of renewable energy and electric mobility.

The event will be hosted at the IIT Bhubaneswar campus, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with experts and explore future-ready energy technologies.
