New Delhi - The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), under the Khelo India initiative, has launched the ASMITA - Khelo India Women League Theme Song Contest to celebrate and promote women's sports in India. The contest is being organised by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), in collaboration with the MYGov platform. 

The competition is open to all Indian citizens, with entries accepted to January 31, 2026. Participants are required to submit an original theme song highlighting the spirit of women athletes and the ASMITA league. Songs must be submitted in MP3 or WAV format along with lyrics in English or Hindi. 

Winner of the contest will receive the cash prizes, with the first price set at ₹60,000 and the runner prizes at ₹40,000 along with the certificates of appreciation from SAI. The initiative aims to give a creative voice to the vision of Nari Shakti and encourage public participation in promoting women's across the country.
